Welcome to the Beaucerons du Bois du Nord
I am located in Canada, in the province of Ontario, where the Beauceron is still a rarity, and often confused with a Doberman cross. Being very fortunate to have been able to find a local breeder in France with an excellent reputation for breeding Beaucerons with an outstanding temperament, this female that I own has far surpassed my expectations. She comes from excellent producing ancestors, most of whom have a Cotation 6 in France. Cotation 6 is the highest Cotation level that a dog can attain, having proven its ability to reproduce its qualities.

Excellent + in conformation, Excellent in temperament - Passed the Herding Instinct Test
The male that I selected for this breeding is a Cotation 4, which means that a judge in France has deemed him to have an excellent + in conformation and an excellent temperament. I have met the dog on many occasions, and he is very sociable and has a stable, reliable temperament, which is my top priority. He also has a number of Cotation 6 dogs in his ancestry.
The male was also imported into Ontario from France, and is owned by Esa Rasimus, from the kennel du Cedarhurst Beaucerons.
